When it comes to cooking, I am rather lazy. I like making stuff that take less, and yield more! Needless to say, my recipe list is a tiny one. :(
So when my aunt suggested this easy peasy dessert which could please one and ll, I was happy and tried it the very next day. And sure loved it!

Ingredients:- Greek yogurt 1 cup (I used the fat free version available off the supermarket rack)
- Condensed milk 1 cup (again, I used the skimmed condensed milk which is labeled fat free)
- Cardamom powder 1 tsp. (optional)
Method:
- Mix above ingredients in a bowl and whisk well so there are no lumps.
- Pour into a microwaveable bowl, spread evenly.
- Cover and cook on high for 2 minutes (on a 1000 watt microwave).
- Take the bowl out, stick in a toothpick into the bhapa doi mix and check consistency. It should be ready, but in case it is a bit runny, give another 30 seconds and check.
- Put in the refrigerator to chill. This could even be made a day earlier.
- Before serving, garnish as you please! (dry fruits, nuts, cherries, and so on!)
Few quick tips:
- Of course, you can use full fat ingredients, if your guests don't mind!
- You can use any food color at the time of whisking.
- You can make this in little ramekins if you know the number of guests, just pour in little bowls and heat for about 50 seconds at the first go. No more.
- You can make this in large quantities, but you must keep the ratio of condensed milk and yogurt 1:1 at all times.
- You can even use usual yogurt but then you must hang it to drain excess water, Greek yogurt already is drained so my task was easier.
